What We Do

What You Do

At synQup, you work with the latest technologies. Our application consists of advanced and interesting components such as PHP8, Symfony, Redis, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, VueJS, and Quasar. Your tasks include:

  • Maintenance and optimization of our AWS and Kubernetes-based environment
  • Implementing requirements from product management (e.g., integration between deployment and internal databases)
  • Responsibility for our internal automated test system
  • Further development of our powerful CI/CD pipeline (GitLab)
  • Minor integration tasks (e.g., configuring VPNs)
  • Housekeeping

What You Bring

  • A successfully completed degree in computer science or a comparable education
  • AWS experience (at least 2 years with production systems)
  • Excellent knowledge of Docker (or comparable technologies like containerd, Podman)
  • Excellent knowledge of network technology (VPCs, routing tables, VPNs)
  • Excellent knowledge of Linux administration (we mainly use Ubuntu, partly Debian)
  • Excellent knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS/GCP/Azure or OpenShift)
  • Experience in IT or specifically web or cloud security is advantageous
  • A desire to know new technologies and continuously develop your skills
  • Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
